Comparing the two teams man for man, we aren't in the same class I'm afraid. How things have changed.

First half looked like a two teams with nothing to play for. We didn't seem bothered and neither did Cardiff. We put the ball in our own net via a deflection. Picked the pace up 2nd half but created nothing and their goal keeper didn't have a proper save to make all game. Looks like we got another young player to sell off asap though. Forgot his name but he actually bothered to tackle and say Hi I'm here. Overall same story Bent put on late on to ensure that we wouldn't score. Too show how bad we were Monty made a huge improvement when he came on. Shows how bad the other signings are. Adam has to go as does Mccabe.

Sheffield United "Nil" was there from the start, as soon as Hendo & Boggy were partnered up front again, with bent on the bench. Then it was just a matter of would the welsh w**kers score?...er, yes.
Harry Maguire given a run, did well too apparently, that`s the big high & he should now keep at least one member of the shit footballer club out of the side for the rest of the season (now we just need 7 other replacements to go alongside Harry, Riise & Lowton)
... & yes Harry will be sold to spurs/everton etc. etc. during the pre-season
Relegation just about sealed now with 5 games to go, well done McCabe, the non removal of lump-it master general Blackwell at the end of last season (even the season before) was the biggest blow to any chance of success. McCabe`s cheap options have got us exactly where cheap options lie.... propping up the doss house at the salvation army, begging for scraps & getting fed collins, nossa and all.

The decision making by management all season has been abysmal. The one to let Vokes go but still keep the likes of Bent was a pearler, I see Vokes scored today something our forwards are totally incapable of doing.

I see Ward also scored for Derby. What's wrong with us? Why do we always hang on to the rubbish?

My god it was depressing. Henderson looks like he's moving underwater, Bogdanovic isn't interested (hope he only had a 1 year deal) Bent was a MASSIVE mistake.
Positives, Lowton and the young lad Maguire looked good, Quinn was like a man posessed (really need to keep him for next season), and Riise was a class above (will be a good acquisition for a Championship side)

I thought at one point Collins was trying to pull a tractor tyre, he was that bloody slow, and as for the 'clothes peg' Simmo, who refuses to come of the line it will soon be time to get-rid.

I`d agree with kowalski too, those 4 are the only ones worth keeping next season. Wouldn`t have said that about Squinny a few months ago but he`s been running his little legs rigid for the cause.
Unfortunately if any club comes knocking during our "after relegation" car boot sale, Quinny, Maguire & Lowton will be the only saleable goods. Riise of course will be snapped up when his loan expires.
Which of course leaves us with the unsold one armed dolls, the tatty books, an old cassette recorder that don`t work & a toaster with the plastic bits burnt wobbly... in other words, collins, monty, doyle, and the rest of the nobody else wants.

It looks as though next year's Division 3 team will consist of any unsold youth team members and any loanees we haven't yet got rid of. Love your description of Collins, Ivanhoe - pulling a tractor tyre! Maybe the rest of the slowcoaches were pulling tanks? Being in the Antipodes, I was reduced on this occasion to watching the BBC clicker thing for latest play and scores. I, like many thousands, just wish this season would go away!

Thanks Bladenz. You should have seen him, at one point in the game Collins and Bellamy (Everybody's other favourite Welshman, after Savage!!) were running towards our goal with Collins having a two yard start, I thought Bellamy had somehow managed to pull the ripcord on Collins's invisible parachute, there must be a glacier somewhere in the world named after him.

Thanks Ivanhoe - I shall think of thee whenever I hear the name of Collins Glacier from now on. We have got glaciers on the West Coast of the South Island (Fox Glacier) which can move faster than Collins. Fox tends to advance and retreat regularly, but I doubt Collins could keep up with it. There was a huge disaster on Mount Erebus in Antarctica some years ago with a New Zealand plane - I think the Blades dropping to Div.3 is on a par with that.

I believe the latin name for a static slug is Arion lusitanicus collinsicus
Equus africanus asinus hendoicus is the latin for a useless f**kin` donkey.
