That would be rather decent Hages :-) .... can`t wait to see some activity in the transfer market, with a bit of pace up front and a huge mobile centre back for starters. Billy and Leon will still have a big part to play but they need that pace alongside `em . Keeping Brooks and a recovered Coutts will be handy too.
I guess we`ve the world cup to keep us interested for a while, well, until Southgate`s negative soft middle (henderson/Dier) finally kills of England`s chances..... but roll on Blades news !!

Reed and Carruthers out, Henderson probably with gloves in the starting XI. Waiting game for other addditions as we want quality, can live with that. Starting at BDTBL live on sky against Swansea. We're in demand due to our good play last season.

Good for Reed and Carruthers, both alas weren`t up to it at The Lane. Carruthers was a real let down this last season after a glimpse of promise the previous season
Nice to see Harry and Kyle keep up quality performances for England... but more real transfer news from The Blades would be handy.
yes that`s a good point hages, we were a good watch last year, especially up to december and the loss of Coutts, even then our attacking endeavour usually meant goals for either side !

Brooks on his way to the southcoast, silly money and heavy add ons please. Hoped for a full season with Brooksy,now get some decent quality in....... On the cards loosing Brooks, but surprised we couldn't hold on another year. Very disappointed, but still most of last season was without him.
Is this the new agent stuff....??

It`s a tricky`un... like you Hages i`d have liked to see a full season of Brooks at the Lane, just to see how he`ll go fully fit and how consistent and better he could become. However a new agent is always likely to turn a blokes head and show him he`s chosen the right people to take him onward... good for Brooks , bad for us, very very good for the Agent`s pockets
If we get silly money, maybe 12 million quid plus up front then that could be good for Chris to spend on new quality but you always have the feeling with Mccabe that we`ll settle for a couple of million and half a dozen add ons that will never eventuate.... something like we get an extra tenner and a packet of johnnies if Brooks captains Wales to Ryder cup glory within 2 year etc. etc.
If it means bringing in 3 or 4 very good quality players in Brooks place , then that is good.... If Brook does end up staying, that is good too.... All depends if he goes that that silly money is in our transfer account straight away.... and not McCabe`s building empire
