New Home Shirt

Hmmm, liked last seasons shirt , the short black sleeves gave it a toughness too, the latest looks a bit soft, a bit too stokey/sunderlandy but maybe with Black shorts it`ll look ok. The main gripe is the back... totally white with no stripes, well that`s just daft did adidas run out of red?.... I can put up with the dodgy coloured sponsors name but that white back is totally unnecessary ... it`s a bloody home kit, home kit is Red and White stripes and summat every other club should see and fear... front and back.

Agree Fred, not anything like last season. Stripes on the back is a must for me.

Some talk about FIFA wanting plain backs so you can see numbers better.... well that`s bollocks, all you need is like in the days Of TC a number on a white square ... the stripes can still go around it. Plain backs defeats the purpose of a traditional home kit unless you are plain white, red, blue or manicured toast brown on a lake of tripe.

I`ve never had a problem seeing numbers, no doubt it`ll be to appease TV or w**kers or summat daft ;-)
