Chris Porter is a top signing! Hasnt quite happened for him at Derby, but we wanted him before that - 18 months ago. I gather he is much in the mould of Jan Fjortoft! Big, good with the head, one on ones, sharp finisher in the 18 yard box but not very fast. 22 goals he scored before moving up to Scotland. Jordan Slew signing is the top one of the Summer for me! Both have goals in them and the addition of a winger is the icing on the cake. With United, there is always that kick in the bollox around the corner so be prepared for Williamson to leave or Lowton to get pinched  Its the Blades Way! |

Shock, horror, we finally bring down the old cocoa jar full of tanners from the McCabe family padlocked barb-wired welsh dresser. Celebration time, get out the bunting & the ticker tape.
Quite happy with this Porter signing, his scoring record looks good, slight concern with his recent injuries, let`s hope he`s over `em.
Flynn sounds good, though of course he`s only been playing third north division one tosh up in Scotland, but like Jock Bryson he may just have the goods of a decent supplier of chances.
Slew signing is another good`un, still yet to convince he has the total goods, staying at the Lane was the best for his development despite his t**t agent Mark rankine trying to cash in.
now.... just to get some middle midfielders sold & bought & another centre back to replace the soon to be 'accidently' hospitalised Collins.

I think I would have a party if Monty and Squinn went! Two players I have hated for years and years. I dont think they will though, Squinn could have gone for FA last summer before waiting the week before the season started before putting pen to paper. If they didnt want hom for nowt, why would they want him for 700k? Monty is just hiddeous. Im suprised Health and Saftey havent had him by now. BUT...... We are moving in the right direction. Always difficult to gage a player until he has stepped over the white line but they are psoitive moves. I thought that black kid from Swindon would have been it with an influx of youth teamers.......... |

Slew signs a deal hopefully his head has shrunk a bit he'll play well.
Just need Monty and Doyle to go and two midfielders to replace them. Anybody from a park team would do.

Latest about this monty swap for paynter at leeds is that we don`t want a swap & want the dosh instead!!!. What`s up wi` United??, i`d take any sort of swap for monty, an odd sock, a pickled onion sandwich, a bucket of shite, all of `em & more have greater footballing nouse than our midfield shadow chaser.
What sort of dosh would we realistically get for him anyway??, two bob & a never to be played friendly??.
get Paynter in & give cresswell a job where he may be useful... programme seller, toilet mop, that sort of thing
