Thought overall we were the better side at Norwich, perhaps a little jaded middle of second half but we had enough chances to win. Brooks looking much more like an end product... it`s coming. Arblaster was sheer class and scored wi` a cracking strike old Woody would`ve been proud of.
Perhaps our crossing didn`t do Moore much good but we had chances and Burrows has a nifty shot.

Cooper looked very good and confident, a couple of mis-kicks, but then it was a slippy marshy fens type of surface . Souttar was his usual monstrous self, you can see the opponents crossing themselves as his shadow bares upon them (he was so close to scoring too !). Gilchrist had a fine game , read a few breaks very well.

I see the soft underbelly of the mardy norwich fan base has spouted shite , surely Deliah could name a delicate lemon curd and dogshit recipe after them? They say the ref was crap and non of their saintly darlings deserved a booking. Well i`ll tell thi` what, astonishingly 3 of those rightly booked norwich players, continued to put in more bookable fouls, how insane?. The ref was very very lenient. That`s a possible 3 red cards , the supporters should be claiming the ref as "one of their own" and putting their purile comments toward the ridiculous unnecessary late fouls their players did.

Sousa deserved a booking for us, no grumble there, he is certainly putting his body on the line this season. I see Mourinho is keen on signing him, so the rumours say. Souza is growing on me... that`s put the mockers on then.

Meanwhile the elland road spawn are trying to get Hamer... The ghostly transfers of Mick Jones, TC, Deano, Sabella, are sending shudders through us. Pray let Leeds be hugely F***** off after deadline day.

Lost 1-0 at Barnsley, ne`er mind. Sure i can accept some of the 5000 Blades there were a bit miffed at the performance but everyone knew we`d put out young`uns and players needing game time.

We had chances, can`t remember Barnsley having many. We just need to up our composure in the opposition box. Once Barnsley get whipped by some prem team in next round or so, all will be forgotten, blimey we`ve lost to so many half forgotten cobwebbed lower division clubs over the years this was no surprise.

Gus at least looked as if he cared, tried very hard when he cam on, shame his shots were close to the keeper, but they were decent efforts and hopefully showed he`s happy as a Blade.

Include Gus from the start and add Callum and Souttar the collossus and we win. But they are fine for sunday and that`s this weeks priority.

Still hate bloody barnsley of course. They and supporters of other local clubs stuck in a eternal non premier world will have a little snigger or two. That`s about as classy as they get.
