Is it televised??. nearer kick off just google "boring midlands no bodies v. sheffield united live stream january 2011" & see what happens. You never know.
Cov are just one of those little hangers on, a club that are never pretty to watch, never worth going to see, easily forgotten & with a history of one cup win & jimmy hills chin.

Half time, and it sounds like we are getting a mauling. Simmo has kept us in it. Nothing from us on target,or off target. I suppose its so one sided,we could finish up winning it. Keep them out Simmo

It's nice to keep a clean sheet for a change. We may have played very negatively and got battered for large parts of the game, but a point away from home is a good start.

What are these 'clean sheets' that you speak of
Think they hit the bar and had a few good chances. Would've been ecstatic if Quinn had taken his chance, but happy with a point.

The main positive we can take from today's game is that we kept a clean sheet away from home and that we didn't lose. I'm all for having a go, but when you're in our position, we need every point we can get. The concern for me was the alarming regularity that we were shipping 3-4 goals in games both home and away. Glad to see us being a bit mor miseryly and Coventry shut out for 90 mins. I'm hoping this is a result we can now go and build on with a win next week at home to Norwich. I have a feeling they will be a far more difficult proposition, but a Blades side fighting for it's life in the division backed by the supporters is a very different proposition to the side they beat a couple of weeks ago at Carrow Road.

Defence & goalie did their best to keep cov at nil. Good promise. now he has to sort that middle out. Not much creativity there including the lump it twins. Plenty of holes defensively there too. Good point and a bit of luck, something we`ve had sod all of. Micky says new signing monday, from a prem club too!...as long as it`s not that argy b*****d tevez, bloody bad rubbish . news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_utd/9362986.stm?

I was very disappointed by the negative team that we put out today. I have no problem with the back four or the strikers but that midfield was devoid of creativity and passing talent that made sure we were never going to win.
Quinn, Ertl and Montgomery would never make my starting eleven and I would have been far more confident seeing Britton, Lowton, Yeates and Williamson in there. Lowton and Britton can do all the tackling that Monty can do and do it better!
Now we need Reid back and we need a striker
