I always sort of hoped Lowton might make the switch to midfield at some point instead of one of the cloggers, don't think that can happen now.

Seems the scot lads muck up is all down to a technical hitch, The Blades staff say they have proof our paperwork was sent off before the deadline... due to a computer "error" the football league didn`t get it till after the deadline.
The question remains... why wait till so buggering close to 11pm before completing the transfers?... surely the slew saga didn`t just free up funds.
Hope we get the lads, but if you`re going to wait till 3 in the morning to pick up enough courage to ask the ravishing blonde out for a fish supper & a snog there`s a good chance the slimey herbert with the al jolson lips has already beaten you to it

Something to do with the fax machine Fred. Apparently we couldnt get the documents through because the lines were busy. I take your point though. Maybe its that tight down there, we needed the money of Slew to hit the bank before buying 2 train tickets from Scotland to Sheffield

With Williamson & Mcdonald out this week, one of the sporran spankers would`ve been handy for creativity, have read some reasonable things from rangers fans about `em.
The football league wishing to keep in with their rich aunty, the FA, is trying their level best to make sure we are given no favours. I wonder how many late prem teams got away with a few minutes or so, i guess that depends on sir trevor & his arsewiper by royal command dear old scudamore.
This St Mirren wanting to jump in & grab the 2 lads if the deal falls thru` gives rangers no reason to plead our case, but i hope they do.

Couldn't make it up could you. Typical Blades cock up. Bet the Authorities are loving up. Trouble makers United too slow to get the fax going properly. Good chance to put one over the trouble makers. Show em who's boss. Now the squad is weakened even further I'm beginning to feel a little sorry for Wilson.

It reminds me of how the tories waited to get the miners, they just never forgave them for getting Ted Heath out of office. The FA sided with the eel munchers and were caught out when the truth came out, Snidey b*****ds on a gravy train..

We lost out on the Jocks. All fallen through, the football league on advise from the FA decided it was Sheffield United so under rule 354 paragraph 10, in regard "All clubs in the Sheffield 2 area" can go bollocks for making us look a bunch of incompetent pilferers.
Maybe not a bad thing, bringing those 2 midfielders in, was that to cover the much sought after monty & also perhaps Williamson going before the deadline???... as predicted nobody really wants monty so we are stuck, though williamson staying is a plus.
Perhaps danny can go get a centre back now & another striker both with some pace??.
I see Evans played for the reserves today. That`s another striker to the list , talent unknown.

Even Blunkett knew we could lose Willo and Quinny on D Day, so how hard was it to not get these kids signed? Symptomatic of the culture within the club. f**king useless small time Muppets.
