Solid unfussy player, sounds as if Bartley is off to rangers on loan??, so even more important we got a CB in..
Still hoping for another signing before the deadline. We still look a bit toothless/uncreative, a midfielder with skill would be nice....
Actually make that, still hoping for another 8 signings before deadline.
Lots of teams bidding for monty i see.

good signing, decent defender with plenty of championship and premiership experience, and permanent too
not heard that about bartley to rangers but seen andy reids signed for blackpool which is probably why ward's staying put

I thought Bartley was in on a season long loan so couldn't understand why he would go elsewhere but somebody has just said he had a barney with MA.

What a disappointing transfer deadline. I've seen comments by a lot of people about Collins and few rate him. We lost Bartley and gained Collins, how did we come out better off??!!!
From what I can figure, we had a bit of a shopping list (which included a midfielder) but didn't carry the financial clout to nab anybody....everybody has more money than we do yet Adams was promised transfer money!

I'm not over the moon with Collins, but think he fits better with what we need at the moment. Good luck to Bartley, can't see why he'd move to Rangers unless there was a bust up as said

Also, read on other sites that we were in for Reid, Ashbee, Bullard and Killa but they all chose to go elsewhere.
Maybe Torres on loan next week?
