I've just had the renewal reminder for the domain name and I've renewed it for another two years. With the proboard set up, I can't see us having any major technical problems, because this is a pretty robust platform. We could upgrade to the "no ads" version, but I don't really notice the ads personally and can't see the point in spending to remove them. I just wanted to let people know that the forum will continue now into the next two years and possibly beyond that if membership grows.
The only issue with the proboards set up is that it leaves us pretty much tied into their system and doesn't give much scope to alter or customise things that much. Please spread the word, we could do with some more members and hopefully, the site will start to get to where it was a few years back.

I can see the site expanding as Fred's reputation amongst Blades fans gains momentum. Having read other forums, I think more people should use this site, but I'm biased and would like to see membership increase. Now we're on a stable platform and the site won't suffer from technical issues, that might be the case. Time will tell I suppose.

Blimey, a reputation??, i`ve never had one of those before, ...well outside the law courts that is. I hope we get many more people signing on as members. There`s lots of grand lads on here at present with plenty of good stuff to say about the Blades. My wish is that i`d love to say lots of really really nice things about the team i love & support, just for a change & i hope that happens very soon & then i remember blackwell & the red mist appears!!  |
