Since we missed out on promotion to the Premiership in the Play-Off final Vs Burnley, we have seen a steady stream of player sales and asset stripping at Bramall Lane. We've sold the majority of our footballing assets and if relegated to League 1, would we look to sell of other tangible assets to cover the shortfall from reduced revenue.
If the shortfall between income and expenditure widens in League 1 and we find ourselves in more serious debt, will we see the likes of Bramall Lane, Shirecliffe, Tideswell (Crookes), the car park and the land behind the Kop being sold to cover losses. McCabe certainly won't take the club into administration, and so, I can only see more assets being sold to cover losses. Discuss.....

It makes you think better of those days when clubs were in the hands of a lot of shareholders. At least there had to be discussion and agreement before big decisions were made. Now, power is in the hands of one person, two, or a handful, and decisions are made that are primarily business decisions, regardless of their wisdom in the footballing area. Many of the owners are not interested in football - look at Man.U and those who were at Liverpool. Football clubs may be business activities these days, but their role is as FOOTBALL clubs.

Well we still have the toilet blocks to sell, so if they get rid of them we really wouldn't have a pot to piss in.
