passed away this morning aged 36. retired while playing for spurs in 2005 due to ill health. very sad news

Another player lost his life this week.... older posters will remember Frank Munroe who was with Wolves for many years. Just 63 y.o. uality centre back.

That`s sad`un, i remember collecting football cards, chewing bubble gum till me mouth ached longer than a nosworthy header, all in the aid of getting an Eddie Colquhoun or a Jimmy Gabriel or someone i didn`t have the card of. Was a great way of remembering teams of that age, & i well remember Frank & the other wolves players of that era, including the jehovah`s witness lad Peter Knowles, the tubby wagstaffe, dougan, hibbit, parkin etc.
It seems to stab a bit more when one of these lads passes on, a part of my footballing supporting life lost??.
Dear old Trevor Hockey of course was a real gut wrench, Gil Reece too, & the list continues every year, makes ya feel bloody old of course.
