Blades young`uns thrash villa 3-0 on aggregate to make youth cup final. Seems Pembo has a good crop there
Surely lads like Maguire, Ironside, Slew, Long etc. are better than some of the shoddy shite we have masquerading as footballers in ther first team.
Try getting Nossa, collins, monty etc, to trap a football & it`s bouncing around their ear`oles, off shins, off knees off owt but their bloody feet.
Put Harry Maguire in for a start, tough name, tough lad, hardly tough on collins.
... & i`d rather have Pembo in at his age rather than the human spacehopper Nossa, indeed i`d rather have a bucket of shite stood in Nossa`s position, i`d put more money on the bucket finding a red & white shirt.

George Long is the son of one of my old classmates from Rowlinson Fred, obviously comes from good stock so he should do well!

from what i saw last night, harry maguire is a ready made first team player for ANY championship side. tall, commanding, composed, skillful, intelligent...reminded me very much of jagielka
the young left back aaron barry also looked quite useful, never shied away from a challenge, made good link-up play with the winger and likes to get forward a bit too
i was really looking forward to seeing what george long can do, although he didnt have an actual save to make he was very commanding, successfully coming out for every single cross when simonsen would have no doubt stayed rooted to his line or flapped at the ball. would have been very harsh on him had the lad converted the penalty at the end
unfortunately i dont think either forward is ready for the first team, both seemed very cumbersome with no end product. they definitely missed the pace and skill of jordan slew

Oh... and the more i hear about this Harry Maguire, the more i think why hasn`t he been given ago this season in the first team?  , especially when we`ve had a varied mix of 1 legged no brained lumps of landfill at the back, with a collective heading ability of a bag of balloons , tackling ability of a set of john inmans & turning speeds of a sideboard cabinet. from blackwell thru` to Micky, have we had anyone who can spot a footballer at the Lane this season? |

Are my eyes deceiving me or did I read that Adams is going to play more youth from now on and have a big clear out at the end of the season! Its almost like he's listening to the fans...crazy stuff! KM better not catch him doing that!
