Rival clubs preparing to bid for Lane stars
Darius Henderson. By James Shield Sheffield United Published on Wednesday 20 April 2011 20:50
SHEFFIELD United are bracing themselves for a flurry of interest in their senior stars as clubs look to cherry-pick Micky Adams’ most sought-after talent.
A small army of scouts watched United beaten 3-1 by Preston North End on Saturday with more expected to attend this weekend’s visit of Bristol City.
Despite failing to score since his return from serious injury, striker Darius Henderson is being tracked by several of United’s Championship rivals, with Nick Montgomery, Stephen Quinn and Ched Evans also being monitored............Stars? at Sheffield United 2009-11??? Including Hendo & monty??? stars? ok , ok, if the star in question is the dodgy one from the constellation pissbowl ( possibly featured in an old star trek episode), a star that is populated by mutant aliens with one leg, no head & no ball control, well then it is quite an acceptable headline.

Even the snort beasts get referred to as stars in that paper. And you get the occasional 'Ace' chucked in for good measure even though to quote Dave Lister they are often 'Ace Holes'!.
We're in a day and age when even Paris Hilton is called a star and her only talent is being slotted up against a wall behind a sleazy nightclub. And all those talentless reality TV show people get called stars, it's nuts!

Well we think you ARE a star Mutts, not the easiest job in town, drumming, and you deserve all the accolades coming to you.
I have specifically gone thru` the list of the names of actual stars & have found one to suit you...
in the designation of Delta Ursae minoris there is a star called pherkard, i trust you`ll be happy being called this particular star Mutts, you've earned it and i hope you feel quite proud & honoured everytime a music fan shouts this out to you.

Mutts - it will be my privilege to shout "Pherkard" at my screen whenever you submit anything to this Board. Well done, Fred. Think of all the clubs and pubs and other places where you perform when they all yell this to you in unison. Best of luck, I believe you have plenty of engagements ahead?
