The FA will decide the fate of QPR on Friday for fielding an illegible player (where have I heard this before?).
Why wait until just before the last game of the season before an inquest, they knew about this back in September?
Will the spineless FA impose anything more substantial than a fine? Aren't QPR one of the richest clubs now, so any fine will be meaningless?
If then Sun is correct and a points deduction is imposed will they be deducting enough points to take them out of either an automatic spot or playoff position?
I still can't believe after the Tevez saga that no rule was created to punish this type of offence in the future.
It would be too much to hope for that they are deducted 3pts for every game that he has played in. Stuff like that only happens to Swindon.

London club (other than brentford) & therefore safe from FA penalties (spurs, west pricking ham etc.). The FA will only think about a points deduction because of the faint Sheffield United connection in that Warnock used to manage us.
The FA rule book is a pathetic playing field, as you say Moo, swindon, were in the lower echelon of kick `em in the bollocks clubs, in which alas, so are we.
The top 5 & the darling london elite are exempt from all logic.

I think we should be the first club to sue its players for wrongful description. I can just see Monty, suited and booted in the dock being shown videos of his shots fetching the lighst down. His passes making the first 14 rows of the South Stand duck for cover!
McCabe can get be-headed and Blackhead would stay a public execution in the peace gardens as he is hung before thousands of Unitedites!

Nice thoughts Goldenslew, but would Monty be able to find his way into the box. I've been watching him for years and I can't remember him getting into one in all that time!! We could make a fortune selling Blades Mirrors, cos that's the only way you would be able to look at their faces without turning into a pillar of salt..

according to the beeb, the QPR decision has been further delayed! The FA really isn't fit for purpose.

FA running away from lawyers.
Again another mess by the footballing authorities. All very easy to avoid as well.
Third party involvement 5 points deducted. Just get the rules to say that.
Payment to agents 5 points deducted.
At least every club then knows what can happen rather it all being left until the end of the season so that a random number can be chosen.
I've noticed the fair argument cropping up. Fair to whom??? Cardiff have played by the rules and finished third. Why should they be punished if the FA chicken out. I bet they have their lawyers looking at it as well.

The trouble with having cast iron rules chairman, is that the FA would have to apply those cast iron rules, which of course are cast iron rules they would`nt wish to apply to their darling friends.
These sort of rules are only meant for the swindons, lutons, rotherhams etc of the footballing world
spurs should`ve been deducted points 93-94 west vomit ham the same 06-07.
The fact that we were the wounded innocent party in both cases is totally irrelevant to mr brooking, scudamore & the rest of the nancy tarts at the FA.
The FA breathed a large sigh of relief once we got the chop in both cases... they`d have been scared shitless if Al Fayed of fulham had got the drop in `07, imagine the dosh they`d have had to pay out then, with Al`s camel skinned wallet full... so imagine the shit that must be oozing from their collective arse`oles at the thought of moneybags QPR about to hit the high court.
