Thats laughable in itself, he may have put a bit of effort in, but he has been sh1te for the last 5 years! I didnt know you could win an award for turning up, but step forward Mr Quinn. You certainly proved me wrong!
I say the worst, and lets face it, there is plenty to chose from. I didnt get to as many games as I should have last season, I was out of the country but the ones I did catch made me cringe! I saw Nosworthys debut and thought my god, you are BAD!! I never wanted him but I saw one other player and equally so, he was terrible. That award goes to Steve Simonsen!
Now many people were crying out for him to be signed, and barring when we lost to Scunny on the Sunday, I never saw him but for me - he was Mark 'flapper' Bunn mark 2! I could never grasp what people saw in this bloke, the first match of the season, he was chasing the programme seller down at Cardiff! Then when we play QPR at home Sinclair calls him 'The best keeper in the division' I thought by christ you dont half set these up!!!
Steve, you have been a disgrace to that shirt! You never inspired any confidence in any aspect of your play throughout the season! You need to join the circus, you will certainly have Mel Rees turning in his grave!! The blunders V Scunny at home (4th), Forest away and Bristol were the worst howlers I have seen in 20 years down at the Lane - and ive seen Paul Gerrard!!
We have been blessed with great keepers over the years but by christ does this joker make them seem a distant memory eh???
