McCabe was very coy tonight on the RS phone in and did confirm he'd had a text from Roberto Di Matteo. How far must Di Matteo have gotten if he's got the owner's mobile number? We, the fans are in need of a huge boost, getting the cheap, the has beens, the never will be`s the Ian dowies into the job & there`ll be a collective "what`s the chuffin` point' as meadowhall looks the best saturdays entertainment next season.
But just think the boost someone like Di Matteo would give us all. A proper footballing manager with not only a 'name" but with a willingness to play attractively & effectively.

I'd love to see RDM come to us and do well, just don't think it's going to happen. Reckon he was fortunate at MK and already had a good team at West Brom when he took over. Would play attacking football though

Who in their right mind is going to take the job on, when you've got a megalomainiac behind the scenes. Just like Keith Edwards said the other evening "He wants a puppet, and Adams wouldn't be one".
