Yep, very true Chairman, seem reluctant to shoot..... again,
Was disappointed to see no Duffy in the starting line up , he is our best maker of chances, gives us quality possession and plays well and brings the best out of Fleck. Lundstram just doesn`t look a confident player, a starter he should never be, take away one decent tackle to set up a chance for McGoldrick and a hopeful cross for the goal he was shockingly slow and wasteful with possession along with a golden chance to open the scoring, with Evans also being a little slow and weak in the tackle, we can`t have these two together.
No chances for Leon in fact very little seen of him, Billy did more in his late cameo and looked, wait for the pun, very sharp. McGoldrick showed some effort and ability. Henderson was ok and the rest were ok in patches, not so in others.
We bossed the first half without really testing their keeper and started making more chances before we took a deserved lead. Swansea were double shit first half, looked as clueless going forward as a wed***dayite sat by the radio. They then found some spaces where Stevens possibly should`ve been and did Bash for pace a couple of times and created 4 good chances, taking 2 of them. Game done and dusted. Good chance for Egan at the end but he got a connection Douglas Bader would`ve scoffed at.
Ah well 45 games to go, so not the end of the world. need that quicker striker and the young lad Woodburn
needs to be used better too. Meanwhile play Duffy Chris
