Pity he didn't do this 4yrs ago.
Sir Alex Ferguson will not field a team of youngsters against Blackpool this weekend, ensuring the Manchester United boss avoids risking the wrath of the FA and opposition managers.

I see Sir Alex of Newton & Ridley has said he didn`t put out a weak team v scudamore`s darling west ham & that warnock had nowt to moan about. Sure he put some of his big players on toward the end of the game but they went thru the motions as did the rest of their team that day.
I expect similar sunday, then again i can see why non of `em would want to risk injury before the euro final.
I can actually see the reasoning even though it hurts. Liverpool of course rested half their team v. fulham (for the cup final) back in `07.
If we`d been in their position we`d have done the same i`m afraid. Hard to find an agreeable answer to suit all teams.

Shame for blackpool, but then there`s only The Blades that matter... though the darling hammers blowing their bubble was rather a jolly old jape.
