i really dont know what to make of this appointment in the long run while im absolutely astounded and disappointed that danny wilson is our new manager, i cant not give the man a chance to win me over but at the same time i dont think i could bring myself to like him i love the blades with everything i've got and will never ever turn my back on them no matter who the manager or how bad the financial/league situation is.....but will i ever be able to bring myself to stand to my feet at a game and shout Danny Wilsons Red and White Army? (believe me it took me about 5 minutes to type out those 6 words) i just dont know what to do brothers

Do what I do Dellas, get your clocking in card, I mean err, season ticket. Treat every game as though we are going to win simply because we are Sheffield United and the other team are just happy to be on the same pitch as us. Then when they score, it is going to be Wilsons fault! If we ever lose a match, its down to the manager! Scan down your programme comparing our players with the non descripts on the other page, enfuriate yourself further by the opposition even having the gaul to keep hold of the ball, then give long shouts of "O tha watching this Wilson!!!??" Get straight into the pub and slag the man off like he is your own boss who made you stay late on a Friday night to get the work out of the way! It will be like therapy

Good thinking Goldenslew. I sympathise, Dellas, it's a bitter pill to swallow. I just keep remembering that we got Derek Dooley from the Sheffield 6 lot, and he turned out to be a good acquisition. I'm hoping against hope that Wilson turns out OK. Meanwhile I'll act as Goldenslew suggests!

I don't and probably won't blame Wilson, McCabe's decision, and if we mess up, McCabe's mess. He appointed the man, no one else.

I think that McCabe is using the 'Law of Averages', He's gunna get it right at some point, then we'll never hear the last of it, I, Me, I, Me, I, Me..

I like to think of him as more of screaming lord sutch! An absolute loonatic who should only be given a spoon to eat with and a gate at the bottom of his stairs! He has proven himself as being a complete idiot - maybe thats why he doesnt want to go on the radio too often in case he p1sses himself?

He only seems to go on the radio when he can orchestrate the callers, the last one on Radio Sheffield was a 'Sickly Love-In'. "Hello Kevin can you remember me, we used to play nippsy together".
He represents all that's bad at this moment in time with United for me..

McCabe says off the field we are ok, but on it we`ve been pretty rubbish for a while, well bugger me senseless with a pogo stick, the penny has finally dropped.
Yes Kevin, by all means use the Blades name to further your business ambitions but Sheffield United first team should have always been your priority.
Having said that, the appointment of Mr wilson doesn`t exactly fill us full of confidence anything is to change in that area.
