Don`t you just hate this early part of the off season, lots of rumours, most incredible beyond belief, some good , some bad and some of players you`d rather see plying their trade at S6 .
So will we get Maupay, McBurnie, Freeman (Luke) , Dack, Valencia, Jags, Bob Scratchit, Madine, Bale, Adebayor, Ed Milliband , Bert Piss or any of the other 356 players we have been rumoured to be signing?
A sticking point is the cloth eared owners, if they were reading on same page or indeed if they just sold us to a buyer with guts and dosh, well we`d be sitting on a grand war chest... but sadly i don`t expect more than 6 old tanners and a sheepskin coat being made available (in premier terms)
Sigh, football is awful this time o` year, i even watched some south american shit, only to boo the slimy argies mind you, ...so they are meant to be great skilled lads these latin americans... i`ve seen more skill top o` Graves Park on a drunken sunday morning. The cricket is a passing interest, but only when England win and the womens world cup is like watching slow motion football with a hit and hope aspect, ... not for me, though i hope England win of course.
Roll on July, when summat actually might happen in the transfer market . Meanwhile i`ll go to the internet transfer rumours and see which spanish 4th division hot shot with 5 goals in 456 games we are signing today

Good to see you Dude. i`ve been wanting to add something to the page for the past few weeks, but nothing has happened man, so frustrating!
At least my main man Didzy is still there, he`ll do well in the prem, he got the touch :-D

No news worth mentioned yet youth :-) ... but from what Lord Chris says summat is likely by end o` week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think so far Frank Arse, of Sodchester Academicals, is the only player not mentioned as a possible signing at the Lane !

Well finally we have the first signing of the off season, as expected Luke Freeman, who is a reyt classy player. Always liked the youth, good dribbler and a sort of a slightly quicker more left footed Duffy. We need players to create like Duffy and Luke, so am rather happy with this signing.
Ravel Morrison is trialing with us, hope he turns out a good`un like McGoldrick did last season. On what people have said about him in the past he has a lot of skill. Old whisky nose Ferguson top of his admirers. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Meanwhile Couttsy is off to Fleetwood, hope he does well there, he did well for us until that burton t**t nobbled him. Best of luck to the youth.

Jags added, that`s reyt by me, good competition for Egan and Stearman. Jags showed he still has it at end of last season for Everton (even got a winner, was it against arsenal ? ).... anyway he has good experience playing against these prem strikers, is still fit and seems reyt up for it.
That`ll do me. Now for a young scoring striker or two please to help our Billy out !

At last, another signing... some added pace to the forward line Callum Robinson. More to come hopefully.
And a 1-0 win over Betis with a crap ref and some slightly knackered players. Plenty of changes at half time and run outs for everyone. Some sloppy passes inviting the opponents on but a good way to get rid of the cobwebs. Moore in goal , again showed what a good shot stopper he is... crosses maybe not so good. Can`t say anyone stood out amazingly , all did good and all with a few errors, Mcgoldrick took his goal well ,then gave a most weird blind pass to set them up wi` a chance, think that summed up our lot. But we threw bodies in the way and don`t like gerri`n beat and that is a great mindset even in a friendly.
thought Billy`s goal was ok too, ref was shit but we are used to that at United and it`ll probably be worse in the prem as the top players influence the snooty never played a game in me life arrogant little herberts in black. Mind if they give us a pen a game i`ll take that back !

Very lucky club Villa, if they`d not got promotion they`d be in the shit, though no doubt like the S6 massive they`d have sold their ground to themselves to cook the books, now they are throwing cash about like another fulham... er, and that worked didn`t it. seems they are in for anyone anyone else is interested in.
The Maupay/McBurnie saga is like watching a box set of shit fishing spots, lots of waiting but bugger all happens. Surely one or indeed non will be the answer sometime next week.

So Ravel is a Blade, sounds good, hope he`s now the player that he always promised to be. Forgive him his dodgy past, but then even Bobby Moore played for west ham once!
lost at burton tonight, not a worry, still need to shoot more and George still has final ball problems but really it`s all just getting match practice and match fit, results aren`t important, well as long as we aren`t whipped and outclassed, we weren`t.
Roll on to northampton and some more signings...

Well we now, after what seems like a week of having medicals, have Lys Mousset, a pacy striker. At first viewing his goalscoring record looked like the sort of stuff you`d get from Danny Cadamarteri`s long lost evil twin brother, but closer inspection reveals, he played sod all full games for Bournemouth and Wilder has been keen on him for a while .
Looks like he`ll be fitting in instead of Maupay who looks like he`ll go elsewhere, if we don`t get him, he is just a 5 7 dwarf who couldn`t score against a 10 man United at the Lane and smells of garlic (if we sign him tomorrow he doesnt!) We have Sharp as a better finisher anyway. McBurnie would be a handy acquisition still, at 6 2 he is summat different and can help at both ends of the pitch in set pieces for a start.

Decent run out at chesterfield, 5 nil win and Our Billy showing what a class finisher he is. Luke Freeman and Robinson on score sheet too, which`ll help them settle in. Hmmm, then there is Mark Duffy, we`ve always looked better last three seasons when he starts but signing Luke Freeman, Morrison and Robinson who`d all play well in Duffy`s position means it could be a tricky season for Mark. not that he can`t raise his game, he has consistently done that for us anyway, but the pace of the other three could mean they get first crack. Duffy appears to have upset Wilder (see below, or upwards if you`re reading from Australia) with his demands which won`t help at all. If Mark goes he`ll forever be a Blades legend and we`ll always thank him for killing the bounce www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-united/latest-blades-news/sheffield-united-manager-speaks-out-about-mark-duffys-absence-as-ben-osborn-deal-imminent-486179
