Collins always lets the high balls bounce in front of him, he doesn't attack it, this is one of the reason that attackers make him look even slower than he is, the ball's already going in the direction they want it to be. They aught to put one of them bleeper things on him, you know the ones that sound when busses are reversing. "BEEP-BEEP-COLLINS-TURNING-BEEP-BEEP"

You used to enjoy going to the match didnt you? Watching Deano, Agana, Alan Roberts, Jan Fjortoft, Vas Borbokis - there was always someone to kep you interested - to marvel at! I`m afraid that`s about the size of it. In my Blades watching history there`s always been maybe 1 player that any bloke on the kop could do a better job than out on the pitch.... paddy buckley, duggie brown, derek richardson, dennis longhorn, phil thompson, chris guthrie, alan warboys nick montgomery, the list is a long long long `un.
But this last 2 year you could put EIGHT in that category!!! no wonder we are cannon fodder for the likes of ipswich & swansea, no wonder we play like a half pissed sunday league team, no wonder we are third tier.
Getting paid for running about in circles, scuffing passes, shooting into the terraces & giving away silly free kicks.... Is there any other profession where you can get highly paid for incompetence??

Evans was the Blades connection in the article, so ipswich are after him???. probably our only saleable player, other than the kids, oh & hendo being picked up by a long ball hoof merchant. ... and collins getting picked up by the army for bayonet practise.

Is there any other profession where you can get highly paid for incompetence?? Member of Parliament? I wouldnt shed a tear for any of the first team if they were to go. I would like to think we might keep hold of people like Slew though. Its going to go one of two ways next season. Its going to be embarrasing again or we will power the League. My intial thoughts are that if we have 3/4/5 of the youngsters in for the first game, any pass that goes astray Wilson will get it in the neck, especially in the first 10 minutes - how are they going to react to the crowd getting restless?? Its a no win sitiuation created by McScrew-Lose by a stupid appointment. |
