Cracking result, after 3 draws and a loss in which really we should`ve won all 4 on performance, we finally get a juicy 3 pointer!
Well deserved too, after a lethargic first half the second was a nice professional skillful touch of excellent football. Enda`s goal was a cracking finish, George`s was a touch of magic and then we had a penalty as obvious as they come, somehow ignored by the VAR cretins, who then wake from their slumber and correctly rule Bash didn`t commit a red card offence.
Quite a fun filled second half, McGoldrick misses his compulsory sitters and then Hendo has to make a good save to preserve the winning points.
I feel reyt sorry for young David up front, he`s playing well, it`s just that composure in front of goal lacking, and now he seems to be trying a little too hard, relax youth it`ll come, hopefully against slimy grotty villa this weekend.
As for VAR , well 5 times now it has made a bad decisions against us this season and that penalty was ridiculous, Lundy wasn`t interfering and Bash gets smashed from the back, a foul anywhere on the field and off it, a foul and penalty so obvious it`d take the removal of the brain, the eyes and even the head to miss it. That was totally incompetent and possibly would`ve seen us go 3-1 up and see norwich collapse out of sight.
The sending off didn`t go against Norwich as the camp german tramp seemed to suggest, it was , for a change, just a correct application of VAR, and the norwich lad made a meal of it that Delia would`ve drooled over, if she wasn`t busy crying into her chardonnay avec piss 1947.
