It would need someone like Hull City that splash cash around on sh1t to get him off our hands. I hoped Middlesbrough would cart him away but 'ull will do.
Hopefully Ipswich will want Ched to partner Chopra but I wont hold my breath. Id be astonished if we got 1 million quid for him as it is.
Next there is Squinny, 1.5 million - the media wet your apetite dont they? 750k from Weeds for Monty too.
So, all in all, 3.25million plus what ever for Henderson - it wets your lips doent it?
Bollox - we wont get anywhere near that, and if we do - il stand the drop!

Nice to know there are actually other clubs, like hull, who go in for the Blackwell motto of "quantity over quality". Hope hendo goes, though i expect it to be for around 200k, Ched may go to ipshite for 500k, Squinny may well get up to 700k if indeed wigan & swansea are squabbling over him. & we`ll have to pay leeds to take monty off our hands, that`s if leeds do actually want to ruin their midfield.
So that`s bugger all for the kitty.
I still find it massively surprising that anyone is interested in our line up of lumps.
Until i see anything concrete (other than collins`s boots) i won`t believe it.

I think they would free Henderson to get him off the wage bill.
That would free up more cash to bring in Nosworthy by Uniteds logic - nothing would suprise me after the last 12 months of farce.

24 months of farce, give McCabe the credit due GS Slew seems the only active player in the rumours, and from what our Danny says, it`s his greedy agent that`s spreading his name about quicker than a curry through a ducks arse.

Fred I think the club are just softening us up and preparing us for another Kyle's scenario, let's face it at this moment in time he is about the only saleable item we have got where we can put some re-sale clauses in. If any of the others mentioned are sold as football players, we might get done under the Trades Descriptions Act, or they will be brought back to the club "This footballer you sold me can't kick a ball, I want my money back".

Fred, he is still in talks with Fulham. If he goes im off, they can stick it. Il follow Cricket. Sick to my back teeth of seeing my players sold from under my nose - I remember playing the pigs when we won 2 nowt and Dane Whitehouse scored asking my father why Tony Agana wasnt playing - his expression was that as a man that had been told he had had cancer as he cringed and bent down and said we have flogged him to Notts County! - He told me then, right when I was 9 years old that we would flog our own Grandmother is the price was right! Im sick of being sh1t on. When I heard that last night I could have wept!

Aye we never learn.
Ever since that famed wednesdayite adolf 'owlerton' Hitler had a few hundred weight of bombs dropped on BDTBL back in the 40s, we`ve been a selling club. We lost huge amounts of revenue after the war when attendances were massive but alas part of our ground looked like a world war one trench. Ever since then the board has took every opportunity to beef up the accounts by selling our prized assets
But our board never go down the route of speculate to accumulate.
there`s been plenty of warnings 67... get rid of Birch & Jones = relegation 93... get rid of Deano = relegation 98.. sell Deano (again) & Fjortoft = miss out on promotion. 07... Don`t buy anyone decent in january = relegation 09 to 10... get rid of all our decent players from Beattie, Kenny to the Kyles = relegation.
Actually there was one occasion we went on a spending spree i have to admit, when dear old Reg when we were in the 4th under Porterfield, put the money up to get Edwards back, signed Waugh & morris all for what were reasonable sums back then... guess what, we walked the 4th in style.
Bloody adolf the owl

Do you know what pisses me off though Fred? Other teams cope dont they? I mean look at that shower of basterds up the M1. They knew they would lose Beckford for nothing but they kept hold of him to ensure they got promoted to the championship this time last year. He then went to Everton and they were promoted!
If that was United it would be, "Ah, we couldnt risk not getting a fee for him"
Pigs hold onto there crap like Tudgay, but one sniff and McCabe cant pick that phone up fast enough!
