Pre season so far....

The usual pre season, linked to many players, followed by Villa and Fulham trying to nick every one of `em.... they realise spunking cash by spending 40 million on every player doesn`t work... so follow Uncle Wilder and pick his pockets, that`s the way to do it.

45 minutes under some players belt at Dundee United, 1 up thanks to Billy finding his usual space in the box... and a good performance from Sander,if Lundstram got monk on at Berge taking his place last season , he`ll be throwing his sen against the walls now.

Game called off at half time after a nice typical scottish summer biblical downpour. Egan splashes into a pool and comes out wi` 3 salmon and the loch ness monster in his clutches.

We`ve signed Ramsdale, sorry to see Henderson leave, he did a good job for us, but good to have our own keeper and not have to drop standards in two games v. man utd... that`s not saying Moore was poor but a lack of action does mean slightly slower reactions.

Brewster of Liverpool, the Swift lad at Reading , Cash at forest, some Burke who doesn`t score goals at WBA but is still young seem to be the likely targets at moment. Maybe another striker from overseas?... Just 19 days to go before our first game, we need to sort a few deals out now.

Players having to isolate after jaunts overseas... now i might be an old miserable b*****d with old fashioned nouse and standards and i think our players are usually pretty sensible but why would anyone want to travel overseas in middle of a bloody shitty nasty pandemic?... Sure, fit young men are less likely to catch the bugger, but why take a risk... what`s up wi` some fish and chips on seaside at skeggy, get thi sen on a donkey, grab a deckchair, fight off the seagulls and drop tha ice cream on thi knackers, there is limitless fun to be had.

Kool Fred, nuthing much to report on, think every fan of all clubs sit and moan about lack of buys pre season, but we got Didzy, though me worries not seen the dude in training yet ! . Too class to not play for the mighty though.

Hope we buy soon, not seen lundy or Jack o`c either

Reyt, so what`s happened since derby?.... friendly v. PNE 2-2, some PNE bloke puts in a last minute charge at the ball and probably scuffs it in wi` his shoulder to secure the draw against us and Foderingham going for the cross looks as flimsy as a old newspaper blowing down myrtle road.

Lundstram is still walking round like a mardarse, scores a nicely taken goal, puts in a nice cross field ball to set up an attack, but nothing else apart from a demeanour of a sulky t**t. The lad has talent but seems content to do as little as possible since Berge came on the scene. Why doesn`t he just gerron wi` it and fight for his place.

Anyway, we have 3 new players, Lowe a tidy left back who derby fans say can`t defend and can`t attack. Bogle who i like and is a handy right back going forward, but lacks a little in defence and Ampadu on loan from Chelsea... i did see him have a decent game for Wales once, a defensive midfielder. All young and all still learning. looks like they are competition for our solid performers. I guess Wilder knows what he`s after.

Now for a forward or two, if we can stop Aston bloody villa gerrin` their grubby hands on anyone we whisper as a possibility. If there is any justice Villa will end up with a 568 man squad all on 70,000 a week and will melt into admin and bankruptcy and end up with the pigs in league one and lower.

Meanwhile we`ve drawn burnley in league cup, a draw that would hardly excite many to attend if indeed we were allowed to attend... and which will give our second eleven a nice jaunt around jolly turf moor. The quaint sound of Sean Dyche munching on gravel will echo round the terraces in a hot contest to see who then plays the might of millwall or cheltenham town. Burnley may even be at full strength, as they don`t have a prem game this weekend, hard to keep a limb still !!!! :-)

Happy Didzy got through ireland game ok, which is so kool for us, looks like Berge got nobbled though so Lundy has his chance?

Aye that`s not good about our lad Sander. Hope he`s soon well, he started pre-season looking reyt confident.

So we now have another Oliver but with a twist (excuse criminal pun)... we lose a Callum in return. Not sure if oli Burke will be a tremendous scorer, i hope he is, but though Callum Robinson was a handy player and seemed an awfully jolly chap to have around, for a lot of his playing time at United he was a bit nesh.
The poor lad look frightened at the mere sight of a premier defender racing toward him. He did well second half at chelsea and had a hand in McBurnie`s goal v man utd, both very important contributions in our season. Shame he seems to lack confidence, perhaps WBA will need to feed him on raw meat and bar bells.... as we do Jack O`Connell

one more transfer to arrive... seems we are all hoping it`s the lad Brewster from Liverpool... he would be handy with his pace up top. Will have to wait and see and more likely see if villa have paid silly money to prize him away from us.

Not long till wolves now. And after the two dire games by England our English lads have plenty of chances to get their way into Southgate`s thoughts. One draw back however is that Southgate is a prat and knows very little about tactics and a midfield.... i mean Rice and the walking red card Phillips to dominate the middle of midfield, neither lad has a constructive bone in their bodies and cement between the ears, Lundy despite looking half bothered would put both to shame... and Dier/Gomex at the back of a back 3.... if Jack O`Connell doesn`t get into the next squad then southgate is a w**k ex palace penalty missing shit head.... oh bollocks he is... ne`er mind Jack.
