So we start our season away at Oldham. Up against Andy Ritchier, Gunner Halle, Nicky Henry and co. Why do the board chose to be away from home for the start and end of season? Its not asif they always fall on a certain day when a major event takes place??? I like the look of that Yeovil match. That falls on bank holiday weekend. Be a good crack down there with the weather, we thought of going to Newquay assuming they were all together down there apparently Newquay is 2 hours drive ontop I dont know how we will find the ground though! Pigs 15th October, around the same time we played them a couple of seasons ago and stuffed them. They play Chezzie the week before so lets hope they are flucked and we give them the long over due 4/5/6 nil they have managed to avoid for 10 years!!! Exeter away for the last game. Beats a Tuesday night in November though eh?

Oldham away, blimey tradition states we always get 2 players sent off there.
In theory, apart from huddersfield, who i think will do well, they all look bloody easy fixtures, especially the 2 pig roast games. We`ll walk this league by 20 points.
That`s if we can offload last years squad onto our rivals of course.

I had a quick look at the fixtures Fred, I had a good look at them, some of them I stared at for ages trying to work out exactly where they were and from my non-biased view, I got us to 138 points from 23 games. I know some will be trickier than others..................so fear not! Did anyone go to Oldham in the Premiership when we took 4k and we had the same amount locked outside as we chanted "Let them in" then they came back "Let us in" Bloody Stevenage eh? They were in the Conference 2 seasons ago! It will be there biggest match of all time! Is this what its come down to McCabe

I recall being at oldham when beeze and charlie got sent off, lots of sheep noises as we stood in the wire pens, shite little ground, shite refereeing, though some surprisingly decent local ale. Every trip has it`s silver lining.
sorry GS but even my biased calculations can`t quite give us 138 points form 23 games, well that`s unless they start giving us extra points for our opponents putting the white ball down the centre pocket.

We were on about Exeter last night and what a farce that will be! It only holds 5k - now can you imagine if we are up for promotion come the end of the seaso??? It wont be difficult getting a hotel, people will be making a weekend of it to go down to Torquay! We will destroy that place! It will be like Dralington all over again from what I can gather.

Already booked on for Oldham and looking forward to it, not sure why! I'm sure this initial enthusiasm will collapse as I slowly realise we are still shit.
And yes, why are we ALWAYS away first and last games?

To be honest I am sick of being away for both the first and last games. It really is a bit of a joke.

The Directors request it.
Why?, I have no idea.
