Barry Hayles... looked like a giant Christmas pudding, played like a giant Christmas pudding... one of a list of strange signings by big nose (copyright Handsworthblade), culip, seck, fahti, the lad from huddersfield who`s name escapes me....etc etc , all bought for no reason other than to show that he was actually bringing players in.

although,... i just read a rumour monty, quinn & williamson are off next week. Now this may leave us with money in the kitty with the reduction in wages paid.
Williamson would be a loss for the 15 games he`ll be fit for, Quinn possibly a minor loss if it`s the Quinn of the last 12 games but not if it`s the quinn of the previous 2 seasons. Monty?, just go lad, go and bugger someone else`s midfield.

Monty - our midfield destroyer! Destroys every b*****d move we make! I needed him when it snowed to shovel my drive! I dont know what boots he wears, but people in the Jon Street and South Stand can feel a little safer if he does piss off! Ah, we all know why Warnock made certain singins though dont we?! Id like to keep Williamson. I think he could be handy, but if those 3 players are worth 30k a week, no wonder we are is the shit! Who on earth sat down with Steven Quinn and started negotiations at 10 grand a week!? t**t. I dont know who this winger is from Falkirk. I do know what sort of boots monty wears GS, not his own obviously & even more obviously they are on the wrong feet... or is it his feet that are on the wrong legs???.
Now you`re not saying our Colin put thru those sales for the good of his & his brothers pockets are you, unthinkable, unlikely, unbelievable... er, probably! :-)

He was a pale shdow of his former self last season against us with Portsmouth though eh Fred? I hope QPR come in for Monty. Looks like that Ryan Flynn is signing from Falkirk. An out and out left winger so hopefully we might see something down there! Its about time we had a player that got chalk on his boots! Michael Tongue didnt want to know, Squinny is shit, Yeates - give me strength and other than that - Warnock used to put a full back there  |

Well, it's certainly true that Leeds won't want Monty if they've got Michael Brown. Who would want him? I am getting desperate now, the longer it goes without us signing anybody. I see Kevin Phillips has now signed for Blackpool so that's another striker gone.All the clubs are signing players while we sit and do nowt. League 2 here we come! There's quite a good article about our Danny on "A United View of football", quoting all his past record. When things are going well, he's OK, but when things are not so good, he's a total tit, says the article. We've had enough of managers like that at the Lane, surely. He says he's picked up some lessons from the friendly against Sheffield FC - what? How to play in non-league football?

I see on BBC Teamtalk that Danny says we are looking for a prolific striker, to get us out of League One. When did we last see a prolific striker at the Lane? By my reckoning it was Deano, and that's going back a year or three. Remember the last "prolific striker" we had on loan last season, Marcus Bent? They don't make 'em like they used to! Come on, somebody, take the rubbish off our hands - PLEASE!!! And find us a prolific striker - a real one!

Williamson, if we can get him fit, is the only one worth keeping. Give those useless trollops, Pubgomery, Evans,Cresswell, Simmo, Collins, Doyle, and the rusty headed dwarf costing the club £70,000 a week to Rotherham or Sheffield FC as a gift.
