How that gimp was ever allowed to manage our club, beggars belief. The clowns will bang on about results, not the tedius, mind numbing, sleep inducing football he produced. But with the squad we had, played properly, would have romped the league. The embarrassment at Wembley, after twice been easily mugged before by ickle Burnley, will never be erased from my memory  |

Aye, one lucky season rescued countless times by Paddy`s genius & a firm backline , all non blackwell signings. A season where he hated to use flair & only a lack of numbers forced him to give Cotts a start in march where the lad proceeded to play like TC on steroids before disappearing up his own arse once blackie reminded him wingplay should only involve making lots of tackles.
Tackling & being able to whack the ball miles was indeed a necessity under blackwell for 1/ the backline 2/ the middle & the wingers & 3/ the attack.
Once the idiot replaced players with his own manky 'stars' including the never to be forgotten revolving headed nosworthy., & a succession of `keepers that Cleaning the drains AFC would`ve rejected... we were always going down
the lard headed bugger has a lot to answer for, McCabe just as much for letting him bring in the shite no one else wanted (& still don`t)

Ebeneezer McCabe sitting out trying to ooze some more dosh out of ipswich for Ched, may well have oozed a little too much, ipswich seem to have turned attentions to Jay Emmanuel-Thomas of the arse.
Silly sod McCabe, just get the lad, monty, & the rest of the bloody scrapings of the books.

Wilson is becomingly increasingly frustrated. Other than having a sign around Evans neck saying "For Sale" You would hoped he had a decent aganet touting him around. Where is Mark Rankine when you need him??? It never works both ways does it??? Kevin McDonald and Iain Turner are on trial. Turner - Goalkeeper who played for the piggys did well by all accounts and had a large price tag around his head at one time. They rate him but lets face it, this keeper is abysmal! McDonald has been released by Burnley. He scored a few goals for them - mainly in the cup matches when they went on there run 2/3 years ago. Really tall too. Ive often thought our midfield was too small. Wilson has suprised me in all fairness. We just need to get shot of Evans mainly in order for his hands to be untied. |

Indeed, but the others would be of some use making the numbers up if nothing else. No one comes close to the wages Evans is taking home. Infact, I would be suprised if the 4 players signed are on as much per week combined as that welsh fanny!

Finally, the Blades have admitted they`ll take Evans at a cut price to get him off the books, `bout bloody time. Same should apply to monty & the rest of the shoddy parasites.
Heavens know what they`ve been asking for monty, anything more than the worth of the wonky handled pottery toby jug* i made back in the dark ages at woodseats junior & it`s a crime.
While cressy, monty, evans, collins & simmo remain at the club, mediocrity will reign.

Looks like Ched is up before the beak on rape charges, and no matter how flimsy these charges appear , who is going to sign on a player who could be playing for strangeways north end next month.
looks like Ched off our books won`t happen for a while unless they throw the charges out.
Our only hope is now to have monty, quinn, cressy & possibly boggy surgically removed from the playing staff to lower the squad wages & increase its productivity.

ok perfromance by sounds of it, trialists did ok, monty dragged us down to his level 2nd half.
Worrying details from wilson tho`, are we going to sign anyone or is it all still dependent on the genius of monty, evans and all being sold to a vulnerable little old lady living on her own, with alzheimers, a walking frame & 90% of shares in a professional football club.

er, the wilson comments...
Kruk, McDonald and Duke have done well, and have done well in the last two weeks, they've fitted in well and integrated with the rest of the group. I have to say that maybe that's not a priority for us at the moment in time - particularly when you see today the chances we missed, maybe it's a goalscorer. So I'd love to bring them in. But if it impinges on bringing in the main person that I would like, we'll have to put it on hold for a bit. Who knows - we might be lucky."
