Well that was nowt much, thought first 20 the 2 teams seemed to be just mildy testing each other out. Ndiaye had an early mazy dribble , Berge hit some nice balls to set up attacks and..... er, and then a vast amount of nothing. Anel got a header on target, Berge saved Bogle`s blushes with a surprise tackle in his own area, there was a scramble in our box which we cleared, Wes had nowt to do and McBurnie tried without success: CUE HALF TIME
Alas the testing , feeling each other out, went on for the full 90 minutes plus. Second half Luton got a goal, awful left sided defence, and a finish that i`ve no idea who scored , was it the luton player, O.G. or Wes. It was crap and saveable, whatever it was ! We had 2 scrambles in their area and McBurnie tried without success. FULL TIME.
I remember an awful forgettable game in 1980 v carlisle, i`ve always put that one down as the most boring game of football two teams at the Lane have ever dished out....
43 year later it has been surpassed today. 2 teams who gave us total mediocrity. Luton will be happy but they are very shit.
Is it due to Hecky now aiming to nullify the opposition? ... for the first half of season, we attacked and be damned, we let the opposition worry about us. Now we look like Luton, which is quite criminal.
Ah well. f**k it.

Guess i jus lucky Fred, i missed the match, lucky moi Saw line up on my phone and thought, no, not Lowe and Fleck together, Bogle needs a rest too. Not a happy dude here. No offence but if Hecky wants to shore up the defensive side of things, no way you play Lowe and Bogle. Needs to go back to puttin` Berge more forward, he is wasted and looks shackled by playing deep for us drop the man Fleck and put Doyle in, sorted. Got to go for 3 points at sunderland.
