I'd like to give him a chance though. Despite whats happened he is our manager (Unitl Sean Bean launches a takeover!) and we have gone through too many managers. We need some form of stability, hopefully he can get off to a good start at Oldham.
Thus far, we have cleared some crap, not all of it, but alot of it! Kept Slew and Lowton and added some players to it.
It could be a good season.

It`s the squad that`ll dictate our play, if he has to persevere with the likes of monty & collins then the ball will spend most of it`s time 20 ft in the air or being pummeled into the advertising boards.
We`ll see if he`s true to his word once the starting eleven is announced at Oldham. My guess is, because no one actually wants our kick it with your shins brigade of hoofers, the team will be a mix of football & whack it anywhere.... and that got us nowt but trouble last season. It has to be football first & foremost, the ONLY time for a good foot through the ball is if a centre back is being run down by 3 colossal Billy Whitehurst`s & needs to clear his lines before he`s wired up to a drip.

Blimey those 3 names!!, add cressy to it & you realise fully why we have got in the shite. Even at my advanced age i doubt whether i could do a worst job as that lot out on the field. admittedly fitness levels would be a problem & the half time pint & fag wouldn`t be tolerated, but every manager who put that lot out on the field wants a labotomy.

Talk is cheap Fred. If he starts at Oldham without those 3 Muppets, plus Pubgomery (if still here and Cresswell, then I'll give him a bit of time. The Alco got mullered for playing Pubgomery & Deadwood, yet the dwarf Pig kunt, plays our best middy, Williamson out wide! With Pubgomery & Doyle in the middle. If he can't see them 2 anti football kunts aren't shit in training, then god help us.

its been 40 years of hoping with a few decent teams inbetween, remember the Porterfield era and divvie 4, I'll nearly got lost in those years. Said it before, sheffield just doesn't hold two teams, pigs should move to rotherham,whitby or Harrogate.

I'm starting to warm to Danny Boy a little bit, he seems to be saying all the right things. And yes I know that it says INDIA on bus tyres and they don't go there, Still don't trust t'chairman tho!!!
