What terrible news, saw it on social media, no, that can`t be right, George is indestructible, fearsome, strong as an ox.....
Sadly we`ve lost George, hard to believe, only 31 , with a wife and child and years left in his football and family life. I am so sorry George, so sorry we won`t see you again, sorry for your family.
George was a Blade, absolutely bled for us on the pitch, put 100% into every game, every tackle, a skilful clever player, one of our very best of the modern era.
We have the wonderful memories on 'You Tube' of the supersonic goal v. swansea, the marvelous skill that tamed norwich, the deserved equaliser at spurs and so much more. But we haven`t you visiting the Lane again George and i`m so very sad.
Bless you George, thanks for all you did for The Blades , we were lucky to have you play for us.

I've been searching the internet, hoping and hoping it wasn't true.
Loved George as a player, as a man, as one of dem blades.
RIP Starman ❤️❤️❤️
