Oh God! Its good to be back eh??

The pre-season doesnt half drag seeing any waife and stray that has been released being linked!

The re-aquaintance of old fans, the beer before the match, the joking around - I havent half missed it ;D

I have been reading Uwe Roslers comments about bouncing back and people saying they will be a stern test - bollox! If we are going to do anything in this League, we need to be beating teams like this, not just beating them but STUFFING them!

Wilson has an embarrassment of ritches upfront and midfield. We have the power to change styles and players at will. I pretty much think it will be the same team that played against Oldham with perhaps Mendez Laing replacing Flynn. McDonald signing (hopefully) is another shrewd move. Instantly moves into the top 3 midfielders in the division - he almost single handedly put Arsenal out of the Cup in 2008 for Burnley. We have needed some height for along time in that centre of the park. Big and powerful - beter than the current hob goblets passing like crabs!

Matty Lowton signing too - another great bit of news.

The wins V Oldham and Hartlepool was just what was reqiured so now lets stuff these out of sight and get to the top of the League

Optimistic that we should win this`un.

Sheffield United v. Brentford , well it`s a cert home win on paper i`nt it?, Brentford are shoddy cloth compared to us. Then the names monty, doyle. collins cressy slip off the tongue & you see we are just as shoddy.

Then again with Lowton, Maguire, Mendez-Laing, Jean Francois, possibly MacDonald, Williamson, Slew, Squinny.... surely we have enough to conquer the likes of brentford. & if Boggy can stop his dopey tart charade or Simmo get back to some semblance of goalkeeping normality, maybe we are on the right road.

Please lets have a creative middle though most of all.

Id like to see David McAllister in there. I think hes a cracking player and offered us another dimension on Tuesday night.

In fact, id like to see our strongest team out, even though we have a 100% success rate thus far;-

Finally!!, yes, since what seems an age, we have now got a proper midfielder in the middle, well done Blades with this signing of McDonald, he looks the goods. Why has it taken 7 years for us to get the idea that creativity in the middle is a pretty handy thing. Years of slap, hoof, and a little bit of tickle was wearing pretty thin.

Goals from Slew & the bridlington bomber (i always said he was worth keeping....ahem) 2-0, that`ll do.
