His agent could probably sell snow to the eskimo's. I don't think we should blame Ched, we should aim our venom at the fool that thought he was worth it and agreed to it.
The Dirties did something similar a few years ago, with a lad they got from Derby, his agent was prepared to ask for say 19k a week, but Risdale's opening offer was something like 35k a week.

£22k a week for what, 13 goals in 2 seasons or summat??. Sure he looked a little better last season in patches but not because he stood out amongst the good & great, he was the turnip amongst the compost.
I can see why they are desperate to get him off the books, shame they didn`t sell him when they could, stupidly holding out for a decent sum when all we wanted was to release his extortionate wage from the books. Of course this buggering about lark has totally shat on any transfer interest for the moment
