So we have our first ever trip to Yeovil, pride of zuthern zummerset, cider suppers & the long lost centre of glove making. Population about 28,000, made up of 10,000 female 2,000 male & 16,000 stuffed yokels who hang around falling off walls.
The ground has a beer tent! not quite the norm at football, more akin to a village cricket match, will it have cucumber sandwiches?, or just the usual outside football ground fare…. 3 month old rubber sausages mixed wi` unidentified green sauce & squashed between 2 penicillin laced slices of bread. Blades travelling down are banned from the tent, so that’s a thrill most will sadly miss out on.
Ground is called huish park, now huish is either summat you bring up after a rather bad curry or the sound of a monty pass as it huishes past your ear`oles on its way to the back of the stand.
Prediction.. 1-1

Its 5 miles from the nearest train station. Th nearest boozer is 3 miles - and thats apparently hostile I fancy us to win today. I think we could come out with 2 nil/ 3-1.

Well, thats that. Another victory, another away win ;D Problem is, we dont seem to be getting out of second gear. There were times in the match when first touches let us down so shooting opportunities were lost. The ball went back instead of being put inside the full back for the winger - we just dont want to make killer ball for fear of mistake. Despite winning 4 from 5, we need that extra impetus. It may sound greedy, but against some of your better teams, we need a little bit more. We needed the second goal but overall, Simonsen could have gaone for a burger at most points in the game. Pigs won

Bit of luck with the goal, was it over the line??, but sounds as if not a lot wrong with our disallowed effort. Deserved win, still plenty of question marks about the level of opposition /if we are a promotion capable side etc... but musn`t grumble 13 points out of 15, that`s rather acceptable.
well yes i can grumble, what the bloody hell are scunny doing losing to that rabble?? sure it`s the most massive club in the world but huge black mark to scunny.

Too few attempts on goal again. I know the opposition made it difficult but I'm still worried we don't have enough trickery in our armoury to create enough.
Does anybody know anything about McDonald's injury and how long he is out for?

It`s to be hoped MacDonald is back soon, the creative part of our middle was non existent for much of the match.
The monty/doyle partnership is as scary offensively as being slapped wi` a lass`s hanky.
Williamson is another we could use in the middle of the middle.
