Although I too can't stand 'The Bug Eyed Frog'. I have a fond spot for Villa, due to the fact that I watched them draw with Anderlecht when I lived in Belgium for a short while in the 80's. My pal who was with me pinched a white beany-hat off Peter Wythe's head when he saw us four service lads wearing 'Union Jack' T Shirts in the Anderlecht end, when they were doing a lap of honour.

I actually never used to mind Villa, and they`ve given us a few decent players over the years; McNaught, Gage, mortimer, Cowans, Withe (well sort of) & Doc Pace, but after dealing with a villa supporter back about 10 year ago it put me right off `em.

the bloke had the intelligence of a dead penguin & a personality to match.

Had a soft spot for Martin O`Neill but this Houllier with his pathetic `allo `allo impressions (he`s really from ramsgate) has put any sympathy i had for the club down the u-bend.
