news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/sheff_utd/9417019.stmAh bless, the players have held their own crisis meeting. Cressy wants to see a settled squad & consistency. well the consistency is already there, the ability to not win week in week out is almost an art form (jackson pollock) & Cressy wants a settled squad because he wants to continue getting picked in the line up. But i wonder if Cressy understands the job descriptions he has on his CV, "striker" & "goalscorer" . Because his efforts so far this season would probably need a revision of this CV, may i suggest a a few new additions to his pedigree " tonight mathew im going to be Chris Guthrie" " as much scoring talent as a limp glove puppet" "absolute w**k" " Has a head complete with foam pinball rudders" perdiction if cressy & monty form the spine... 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, or 0-3.

I am the supreme optimist (?) I think the Blades will draw, or at the most, will lose 1-0 Watched Reid playing for Blackpool just now - he wasn't brilliant, but he did some good things. Oh, for someone as constructive as that. never mind, when we've had a good clearance for League 1, imagine who we might get then!!!

I hate to say "I told you so", 'cos I didn't, but I did at least say that I was a supreme optimist - see above if you don't believe me! It was a nice shock to me anyway. Micky Adams must be feeling mighty relieved to get a win at last. Ten games left now to get out of the cellar.

"To get out of the cellar." Wots a cellar NZB, or are you currently trapped in one

Thanks, LAB, I guess they don't have cellars in Hollywood. We had one in Sheffield, a relic of when they used to deliver the coal through a sort of manhole cover into the basement of the house. It's the lowest part of the house, being underground, and I guess that's just about where the Blades are at the moment, below the relegation line. Ideal places for hiding during the war, I seem to remember!

LAB, meant to add, I guess you only have a wine cellar?
