Loan duo return Posted on: Sat 16 Apr 2011 Marcus Bent and Nyron Nosworthy have left Sheffield United and returned to their clubs.
Micky Adams confirmed after the game at Preston that the pair who had been on loan had been released from their loan deals and gone back to Birmingham City and Sunderland respectively:
"I won't decry anything that they have done and thank them for their efforts with us. But recently we have wanted to get one or two younger players onto the bench to see what they can do, and we can't do that if it is clogged with loan players."
Well if Micky won`t decry these two duffers i guess it`s left to us.
Nossa was absolute gob, Bent was absolute gob, their combined value to Sheffield United football club was absolute gob. There`s a recurring theme somewhere there if you can spot it.
Nossa to give him his due had tremendous ability to give the ball away in silly positions or indeed just watch it nestle onto the foot of an oppostion forward while he dug his sen a little hole.
Meanwhile Bent was doing exactly what he`s being doing for the last 2 to 3 years, not scoring, not even looking like scoring & indeed was often seen loitering with no intent at all in the opposition half
2 huge wastes of wages, lots of stupid goals conceded no goals scored. Spot the w**ker compettion?, i think we have a couple of prime suspects.
...actually there are a fair few other suspects too but why on earth these two were loaned in to add to our quality (don`t laugh) is beyond comprehension.

Far far too late.
Nosworthy shouldn't have been near the first team. A player that would disgrace any local park team.
Bent what a con man who's agent is the boss of carling.
Next we need to hear Mcabe has gone followed by Adams Doyle Collins, Cresswell and our flapper of a goalkeeper then things will start looking a lot better.

In further good news west pricking ham sit nicely in a relegation spot with 2 big games against chelsea & man city away next.
Which clubs in their remaining fixture list will be told under FA/Brooking rule 47B, to send out an uninterested under strength bunch of tarts to ensure the darling hammers stay up?

Bang on chairman. way way too late you`re right, complete flops, just as most of us expected.
Out of all the lads who`ve started this season i`d keep Lowton, Maguire, Slew & Quinny (on his efforts of the last 2 month).
Riise i`d be happy to sign full time (no chance of that). Evans will be off where someone can afford him (probably norwich) & the rest can get stuffed.
complete new squad needed, similar to way Saint Dave did it in 1988

Is there anyway we could retrieve some money back from these 2 oxygen thieves??? I have seen some crap down at the Lane, but these two take the biscuit! That Nosworthy offered me hope that I could play this season! I have never seen one man so naive, thoughtless, lazy and down right stupid in all my life! Johan Cruyff gave his name to the Cruff turn. Maybe something similar could be a 'Nossy' like when the ball bounces over someones head 'Oh hes done a Nossy' or header straight across our own box 'Cut them Nossys out!'

Blimey GS, this season`s squad have provided us with the chance of many new footballing metaphors
Being gifted a tame headed clearance from an opposition player is "receiving a Collins"
Getting hit in the face by the ball while watching the game from the terrace is "receiving a monty"
Missing an absolute sitter is "a bloodyhendo"
.. which is not to be confused with a needless stream of fouls which is "a f**kinhendo"
Silly fouls in & around your own goal area is Montyesque, Doyle-esque & yes Nossa-esque.
Collecting a wage for doing bugger all is of course "having a Bent of a time"
the list is endless

The lad on Facebook who says he is Andy Taylor (the forgotten man) says this:
'Lots of players on there way very soon.. The rumours you are asking about Monty are true.. He will be on his way at the end of the season... Not sure who yet a lot depends on the finishing position of the team very interested....!"
This is good news......to my ears anyroad up

I`d be happy with that bladder, but has anyone ever ever actually wanted him?... putting aside made up pretend requests by his dodgy agent, i very much doubt it. Football playing all-round midfielders would be a nice change next season.
GS...
I guess being given a "speedo' is being given a job where you are the cheap option but there`s a get out clause in case you are shite
Being given a Blackwell is being given a job because you are the cheap option but despite getting found out that 1/ you are crap & 2/ i repeat you ARE crap... you hang on to the job because you are a stubborn headed fat t**t .
A "Blackwell" is of course also a medical term... used to describe the drooling at the mouth at footballs kicked 50 yard long & 50 yard high

I actually feel sorry for Bent. He had a great future but looking at him now he needs another profession.

You have all forgotten about doing a McCabe - systematically selling any and all sellable assets for the lowest possible price and then buggering off back to Belgium

It does truly add significance to the meaning 'if you work hard enough, you can achieve anything' I knew one way or another we would reach his level. Now we get there he is going to pi*s off!

Nice to hear we have signed Philliskirk permanently! What do we know about him other than his dad used to play for us and he can play in midfield and upfront?
