I've just taken the top few candidates from the oddschecker website and thrown them into a poll. I think the majority of our supporters would like a manager with experience. Micky Adams might be worth a look, he's done a superb job at Port Vale. Oh, hang on.....

As much as I would love to see RDM here, I just can't see it myself.
I just feel that we will end with another yet useless manager that does not inspire the team or fans.
Plus, how many prospective employees txt their interests in a job? More like he txt'd KM to tell him not a chance in hell.
SUFC = poison chalice!

Thats what I like about this site - everyone is of the same opinion pretty much. Its pretty clear cut who we want, I would add Robbins onto that list though. I think he could do a job for us. He is dour though I suppose. Just like O'Driscoll - he could put a glass eye to sleep! If he sat next to a grave for a chat, he would cause the corpse to shift! But lets be realistic here, Pembertons odds are at a ridiculously short level. I do believe McCabe will ask Bassett to work with Pembo, after all, if he is a consultant brought in by Adams, he would have been told to F off via text message or left to assume his position was gone. Having said that, I dont think he would move back up to Sheffield again. I wouldnt have a problem with Pembo being named the manager. If you follow the youth like I do, he is a no non-sense manager. They have proper hair cuts, they dont come in stinking of booze and if someone crosses him - they know about it! Obviously we dont want a hole leaving at the only place in the club that can hold its head up high though

I think Pemberton for manager is a catch 22 situation. He's doing brilliant with the youth team, they are a real credit to him and the club. If he fails with the first team do you risk losing everything.

RDM would mean change of style, and we need that, from youth to senior we should play with the same ideas and basics.

I think they will get Allardyce. They like throwing money away and no one likes picking it up more than Big Sam!
I liked the banner that flew over Wigan though - Avram Grant - Millwall legend!

After last nights showing against Newton Heath, I think Pembo is a shoe in if he wants the job..

What about having 4 or 5 managers? That way when we (or the board) are sick of them,. we can just shuffle them!

Goldenslew, you have a remarkable brain for coming up with innovative solutions. Let's give it a try! We can suspend any who don't perform, relegate them to the reserve team or give them an extra week with the first team if they have a win. I think Mr McCabe has already thought of this idea, though, the way he has been shuffling the managers over the past season.

Yes, and they have all ended up in the bin!
Im starting to worry about the murmours coming out of the Lane. Chris Wilder being interviewed, Danny Wilson in there - Russel Slade even.
And despite all of us knowing who we want, I think deep down we know McCabe will pick a sh1t head or somone that should stay where he is.
We may as well have kept Adams with some of these names - they make me cringe!

Apart from RDM, that`s huge pile of gob, no worse than Micky, no better than Micky. If we want promotion & someone who`ll get rid of the horse manure in our first team squad (that`s most of it), well, we`ve got to get someone who is above the average. Settling for mediocre players/managers has got us into the lofty heights of the third division.
